Guest Terms & Conditions

Approved Guest Limits: The maximum capacity for your booked accommodation is. Overcrowding is strictly prohibited under our council operating license.
Registered Guests Only: Only guests listed on the original booking reservation are permitted on the property overnight.
Day Visitors: Hope Farmstay is not permitted to any day visitors.
Events & Functions: Unapproved parties, gatherings or commercial events are strictly prohibited.

Quiet Hours: Out of respect for other guests, neighboring properties, wildlife and farm livestock, strict quiet hours apply between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Amplified Sound: Outdoor speakers, loud music or excessive noise are not permitted at any time.
Property Boundaries: Guests must respect neighboring properties and stay within designated farm guest areas as outlined in your welcome guide map.

Animal Interactions: Do not enter fenced paddocks, feed animals or open farm gates unless accompanied by farm staff or explicitly invited during designated farm tour hours.
Gates: Please leave all farm gates exactly as you find them (open or closed).

Dams & Natural Waterways: For safety and ecological reasons, entering, swimming, wading, fishing, or playing in or around farm dams, irrigation creeks, or water storage tanks is strictly prohibited. Farm dams feature steep, slippery drop-offs, deep mud, hidden underwater hazards, and unmonitored water quality.
Child Supervision: Children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times, especially when walking anywhere near property dams, creeks, drainage areas, or livestock troughs.
Working Farm Environment: Guests acknowledge that Hope Farmstay is an operational farm setting. Guests are not permitted to enter any sheds on the property. Please exercise care and vigilance around machinery, unsealed tracks, fencing and water infrastructure.

To protect our roaming ducks, farms animals and native wildlife, pets are strictly not permitted on the property.

Designated Fire Areas: Fires are strictly permitted only in designated campfire pits/braziers provided. Lighting open fires anywhere else on the property is illegal.
Total Fire Bans: During declared Total Fire Bans, High Fire Danger days, or strong wind events, all outdoor fires (including campfires, outdoor pizza ovens, and charcoal BBQs) are strictly forbidden. Guests must comply immediately with all local Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) directives.
Fire Monitoring & Extinguishing: Campfires must never be left unattended. Fires must be completely extinguished with water before retiring for the night or leaving the property.
Smoking & Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all indoor accommodations. Outdoors, smoking is restricted to designated areas, and all cigarette butts must be completely extinguished and disposed of in provided ash trays (never tossed on the ground or in pasture areas).
Emergency Equipment: Please note the location of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and emergency evacuation maps located in your accommodation unit.
